Don't trust us. Test us.
Thinking TrustAm might be a scam is a smart thing to wonder. Here are three checks you can do yourself, without trusting anything we say.
1. The bank: Rubies MFB is licensed by the CBN
A TrustAm account is a real account at Rubies Microfinance Bank, opened in your own name. TrustAm is how you use it on WhatsApp. Rubies MFB is on the Central Bank of Nigeria's list of licensed microfinance banks: on cbn.gov.ng go to Supervision → Financial Institutions → Microfinance Banks and search "Rubies".
Open the CBN's list of microfinance banks ↗2. The company: TRUSTAM LIMITED, CAC RC 9391501
TrustAm is TRUSTAM LIMITED, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission as RC 9391501. Search the name or the number on the CAC public search.
Search the CAC register ↗3. The ₦100 test: your money, your name
Open your account on WhatsApp, then from your own bank app start a transfer of ₦100 to Rubies MFB and your new account number. Before anything is sent, your bank shows the name on the account: TRUSTAM / your name. Send it, watch the alert land in seconds (an instant NIP transfer), then send the ₦100 straight back to your own bank. Inside your free transfers for the month it goes back whole.
We never ask for your PIN or a one-time code. Not in the chat, not on a call, not ever.

Is TrustAm a scam?
No, and you do not have to take our word for it. Your account is a real account at Rubies Microfinance Bank, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria, and it is in your own name. TrustAm is TRUSTAM LIMITED, registered with the CAC as RC 9391501. You can check both yourself, and test the account with ₦100 before you put in anything more.
Who holds my money?
Rubies Microfinance Bank, a CBN-licensed bank. The account is in your name; your bank app shows it as TRUSTAM / your name when you send to it. TrustAm is the WhatsApp chat you use to manage it.
Will TrustAm ever ask for my PIN or a code?
Never. Not in the chat, not on a call, not by text. Your PIN only ever goes on TrustAm's secure page when you approve a payment yourself. Anyone who asks you for your PIN or a one-time code is a scammer.
How do I test it without risking much?
Send ₦100 from your own bank app to your TrustAm account number, see it land, then send it back to your own bank. Your bank shows the name on the account before you send, so you can check it is yours first.
