TrustAm on WhatsApp
Everything you can say.
And what you get back.
TrustAm lives in a WhatsApp chat. This is the full list of the 96 things it understands — written the way people really type them, in all five languages it speaks.

If you sell something
Record a sale, chase a debt, check your stock, send a customer a link to pay, see your profit. Your books live in the chat.

If you are moving money

Most people need both. A trader takes payments and also pays her own rent — the split is about what you are doing this minute, not about who you are.
Starting from nothing
Open the chat
Tap the green button anywhere on this page. It opens WhatsApp with TrustAm already in it. There is no app to download and no form to fill.
Say hello, or say what you want
You do not have to start with a greeting. "how much i get", "plumber in Lekki" or "who owes me" all work from the very first message.
Answer the questions it asks
If something is missing — an amount, a name, a bank — it asks for that one thing instead of starting over. Money always needs your PIN before it moves.
It speaks five languages
English, Nigerian Pidgin, Yorùbá, Igbo and Hausa. There is no setting to change and no flag to pick — write in whichever one you think in, and the reply comes back in the same language. You can switch halfway through a sentence and it keeps up.
Five ways to ask the same question
- Englishmy balance→ My balance
- Naija Pidgin (Nigerian Pidgin)abeg how much i get for my account→ My balance
- Yorùbá (Yoruba)elo lo ku ninu owo mi→ Owó mi
- Igboego ole ka m nwere ugbua→ Ego m
- Hausakudi nawa ya rage a wurina→ Kuɗina
Almost every entry in the two guides carries its own Yorùbá, Igbo and Hausa phrasings too — open “more ways to say it” under any card. Each one also shows what that feature is called in all five languages.
The menu, and how to get out of anything
The first message TrustAm sends you carries a button called “See what I can do”. Tapping it opens a short list of the things most people want — sending money, getting customers, money advice, your books. It is a shortcut, not a fence: everything in this guide works whether or not it is on that list.
You can reopen that list at any moment by typing menu, main menu, home or options. It works in the middle of a half-finished payment, inside signup, anywhere.
| Type | What happens |
|---|---|
| menu | Back to the list of everything it can do. Works at any point, in any flow. |
| back | One step back, without losing the rest of what you were doing. |
| cancel | Drop whatever is half-finished. Nothing is sent. |
| help | The short version of this page, inside the chat. |
| agent | Ask for a person instead of the bot. |
These have to be the whole message on their own. “Go back to the drawing board” is a sentence, not an escape, and TrustAm will not hijack it.
What is in the two guides
Why you can trust it
Every line in these lists is pulled straight from the file the assistant itself reads when it works out what your message meant. Nobody types this page by hand, so it cannot list a feature that was removed or miss one that was added. If TrustAm can do it, it is here.
Common questions
Do I have to type the exact words in this guide?+
No. The examples here are real phrasings people have used, not commands you have to copy. TrustAm reads ordinary sentences, so "abeg how much i get for my account" and "my balance" reach the same place. The examples are there so you can see the shape of what works.
What languages does TrustAm understand?+
Five: English, Nigerian Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa. You do not set a language anywhere — write in whichever one you like and it replies in that one. You can switch mid-conversation.
How do I get back to the start if I am stuck?+
Type "menu", "main menu", "home", "options" — any of them, at any point, in any half-finished flow. Nothing is sent and nothing is lost. "cancel" drops whatever is pending, and "back" goes one step.
What is the menu?+
The welcome message carries a button called "See what I can do". Tapping it opens a short list of the most common things — sending money, getting customers, money advice, your books. It is a shortcut, not a limit: anything in this guide works whether or not it is on that list.
Is this the whole list, or only the popular bits?+
It is the whole list. All 96 of them are generated from the same registry the bot itself reads, so the page cannot be missing something the bot can do. If TrustAm learns something new, it appears here.
Can somebody else use my chat to move my money?+
Every payment needs your PIN, which lives on your TrustAm account and is never on the phone. If you lose the handset, say so in the chat — "i misplace my phone" is understood — and the account is frozen immediately.
Do I need a TrustAm account to start?+
Not to ask questions or find an artisan. You need one to hold or move money, and you can open it inside the chat: say "i wan get account for here" and it walks you through NIN or BVN and an email address.
